Freelance Typist Jobs (Work From Home)
Position: Experienced Freelance Typists (Home-based, self-employed)
Key Responsibilities
- Transcribe property-related documents such as:
- Building surveys
- Homebuyers reports
- Schedules of condition
- Work with industry-specific reporting software such as ISURV or Quest (preferred).
- Deliver completed reports within a 24-hour turnaround time.
- Provide availability for at least 5 days per week.
- Maintain accuracy and efficiency to maximize hourly pay rate.
Requirements
- Experience in typing property-related documents (essential).
- Fast and accurate typing speed.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and good knowledge of Excel.
- Dictation software required (if not owned, must be purchased).
- Ability to open standard audio file formats (.dss, .ds2, .mp3, .m4a, .wav, .wma).
- Printer access in case of copy-typing requirements.
- Flexible schedule — daytime preferred, but evenings/weekends possible.
