Medical Transcriptionist

Role: Transcribe physician notes, consultations, and medical correspondence.

Requirements:

  • At least three years of prior medical transcription experience.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a specific specialty (e.g., orthopaedics, otolaryngology).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, including manipulation of headers, columns, and sections.
  • Excellent command of English grammar and style.
  • A college diploma.
  • A strong desire to satisfy customers and work as part of a team.

Editor

Role: Review all transcribed records to ensure accuracy and adherence to specific client formatting requirements.

Requirements:

  • At least two years of prior medical transcription experience in a given specialty.
  • At least two years of prior editing experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, including manipulation of headers, columns, and sections.
  • Medical background (most editors are former nurses).
  • Ability to clearly communicate feedback to transcriptionists.
  • Ability to work independently with a high degree of commitment and reliability.

Account Manager/Supervisor

Role: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring client satisfaction and supervising editors.

Requirements:

  • Medical transcription training and an excellent command of American English grammar and style.
  • Proficiency with Word 97/2000, including manipulation of headers, columns, and sections.
  • Strong communication skills to work with clients and internal teams.
  • Ability to independently resolve client issues.
  • A strong desire to satisfy customers and work as part of a team.
