What 20four7VA Is / What They Do

  • 20four7VA is a virtual staffing company that connects freelance Virtual Assistants (VAs) with clients around the world.
  • They hire VAs with a variety of specialties: administrative, marketing, technical, eCommerce, podcast support, telehealth, real estate, construction, etc.
  • Their VAs can be part time or full time, depending on what clients need.

What They Offer to Virtual Assistants

  • Flexible, work-from-home jobs — no commuting.
  • Competitive rates based on skills and experience.
  • Weekly payments — you get paid for hours verified by the client.
  • Free training programs: self-paced courses, live upskilling sessions, 1-on-1 performance improvement training.
  • Support from 20four7VA in HR, payroll, IT, training, etc.

System / Equipment Requirements

You need to have certain minimum tech and system specs. Some of them are:

  • At least an Intel i3-equivalent processor, 8GB RAM.
  • Webcam, noise-cancelling USB headset.
  • Wired internet connection (both primary and backup), minimum speed about 10 Mbps.
  • Working environment that supports remote work.

Application / Hiring Process

The steps you go through to become a VA with them:

  1. Application form & basic requirement submission — fill in details, submit required docs, ensure your system meets the specs.
  2. Basic Skills Test — after applying, you’ll likely get a basic skills test to complete within 48 hours.
  3. Initial Interview — a video call.
  4. Skill Assessment with Subject Matter Expert (SME) — to verify your skills for the type of VA role. This helps determine your tier (i.e. your pay rate level).
  5. Final Interview (with Director of Operations).
  6. Client Endorsement — once you pass all internal steps, your profile is shared with client(s) for matching. You get “endorsement” and can apply to specific client-jobs.
  • The whole process takes about 2-3 weeks on average, if everything goes smoothly.

Work Arrangements & Expectations

  • Once you become part of their VA pool (“Talent Community”), clients pick from that pool when jobs open.
  • You can work for more than one client, but total hours are typically capped at 40 hours per week, unless you get special approval.
  • Clients often prefer VAs to have fixed schedules at first; after you’ve proven yourself, you may request more flexibility.

Pay / Tier System

  • Your rate depends on your tier, which is determined by your experience, skills, and performance in assessments.
  • Hourly rates are not fixed in the public description; the specific rate is discussed during interviews.
  • You are paid weekly via bank transfers, Wise, or Payoneer (depending on location).

Other Important Details

  • The application process, training, client endorsement, and ongoing support are free (i.e., they don’t charge you fees to apply or get matched. )
  • They hire globally (outside the U.S.), including Philippines, Southeast Asia, Latin America, Eastern Europe, South Africa, etc., provided you have reliable Internet and English skills.
  • There’s a “Work-from-Home Readiness Test and a “System Specifications” checklist to ensure suitability for remote work.
